Two Hour Trail Ride

Far from civilization, you’ll ride through deer and elk habitats. This Two-Hour trail ride runs through the beautiful Rocky Mountain scenic trails of the YMCA of the Rockies at Snow Mountain Ranch.

Looking for a great and memorable experience for children between 3 and 8 years of age? This is it! Once your child is seated on the pony, our wrangler will lead them around our beautiful ranch. Availability subject to scheduled trail rides.

Travellers, this is a gorgeous trail ride through the Colorado Rockies that everyone in the family can enjoy. Young and older alike. The guides are quite knowledgeable and are terrific handlers of the horses. The horses are great and know their job well. The scenery is breathtaking and I compare it to being in a real “it’s a small world.” The aspen forest is beautiful and shimmery and the Christmas tree forest is so charming they seem fake - which they are not. The most beautiful is a small valley that is right out of the sound of music. The wildflowers were in bloom and it hits all the right notes. We had a large party with young children that were able to do fine and really enjoy the ride. This is definitely worth the experience. Check it out. We recommend.
